Biewer Beed Description
Biewers are a relatively new breed (recognized by the AKC in 2021). They are a longhaired tri-color terrier who only purpose in life is to love and be loved. This charming, whimsical breed originated in Germany. Biewers are dedicated and loyal members of the family. Despite being a small dog they are generally very healthy and athletic and an excellent hunter of vermin!

Traits & Characteristics
Family Life
The Biewer is very affectionate with family members and people they know well. They make good pets for families with children, however due to their small size supervision is required. Biewers are generally very good with other dogs. Dogs should always be supervised during interactions and introductions with other dogs.
Physical
Biewers are hypoallergenic and make great pets for people with allergies. They have a single coat of long silky hair. They can be high maintenance if their hair is kept long. Frequent brushing and trips to the groomer are required to keep their coat healthy and matt free.

Color
Head Coloring
Blue/Black, Gold/Tan, and white in good symmetry. Any combination of the following two colors is acceptable (Blue/Black and Gold/Tan); (Gold/Tan and White).
Body Coloring
Hair on the back is Blue/Black and White. Amounts of these colors are personal preference. No amount of Tan hair should be found on the back, chest, belly, legs, or feet. The chest, stomach, legs and tip of tail should be White.
